About

Dr. Lee Friedman is a trained occupational epidemiologist with more than 20 years of experience in the field of occupational health and safety. His research focuses on occupational health surveillance, injury prevention at work, precarious employment, and the role of conflicts of interest in public health research. His specialty is in analyzing large population-based datasets, longitudinal cohorts, surveillance systems, data linkage, and multi-center projects. In the Great Lakes Center for Farmworker Health & Wellbeing, he helps to lead the Agricultural Safety & Health Surveillance Program, which looks at injuries and illnesses among farmworkers.
