About

Legal Aid Chicago (LAC), under the leadership of Lisa Palumbo, has been reaching out to immigrant workers for decades. LAC has collaborated closely with Dr. Forst and Dr. Friedman on issues related to pesticide exposure and to COVID prevention, advising on case reporting, communicating with journalists, and creating guidance and communication documents for state and local health departments. In the Great Lakes Center for Farmworker Health & Wellbeing, LAC is involved in the Outreach Core and helps to connect farmworkers with the Center.
